Mississippi State Requirements
The Mississippi Department of Education states that “educators with a Standard license may renew their license using college coursework, Continuing Education Units or through the national board certification process.” They also state that “CEUs must be obtained through an accredited CEU granting agency. Any Continuing Education Office at a college, university, or community/junior college is an accredited CEU granting agency.”
Make Math Moments Courses has partnered with Brandman University (which is accredited through WASC) to provide Graduate Level Professional Development Credits for all courses.
To earn the credits, you must select the course you are taking and complete the Brandman University registration process. You can choose one credit for mini courses and between 2 to 4 credits for regular workshops. Please check with your school or district to determine whether these credits are accepted. Note that these credits require additional fees ($80 per credit) and follow-up assignments.
